Local Camping Possibilities

Friday, September 30, 2016.  We took a hike around Rolley Lake (Provincial Park) out in Maple Ridge a couple of weeks ago and found the place quite inviting so we meandered through the campground.  I decided that I'd like to spend a weekend or two camped out in this very naturally enclosed space.  One thing that I dislike is that campsites inside provincial parks are not open year round...how disappointing.  Especially here lower mainland where the winters tend to be so mild.  I'd love to spend winter weekend at Rolley Lake.

This past weekend we drove out to Fort Langley and rode the Fort to Fort Trail again and maybe a few extra kilometres as we made our final stop at the Edgewater Bar Campground.  What beautiful ride and again another splendid campground that I just need to stay at for a weekend or two...parked along the bank of the Fraser River.  And again this campground is closed through the fall and winter.
So come next spring I will be doing my best to make reservations at these campgrounds as well as a few others that I've noticed in the Go Camping BC 2016 Provincial Parks Visitor's Guide.  Such as Sasquatch Provincial Park and Golden Ears.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Camping!
